隆国强，1966年生，湖南邵阳人，研究员。北京大学理学士(1987)、管理学硕士（1992）、经济学博士（1998）。
现任国务院发展研究中心副主任、党组成员。
长期从事中国对外经济政策的研究，在对外贸易、跨国投资、经济合作、特殊经济区、区域经济合作等领域完成多项重大政策研究报告。
1987-1993年，北京大学分校城市与区域科学系，历任助教、讲师、系主任助理。
1993-2013年，历任国务院发展研究中心对外经济研究部，研究室副主任、主任、研究部副部长、研究部部长，国务院发展研究中心党组成员，兼任办公厅主任。（其中，1998-1999年，应邀赴美国布鲁金斯学会任访问研究员。兼任对外经贸大学博士生导师、北京大学、北京理工大学、延安干部管理学院等多所大学教授/研究员。中国国际经济合作学会副会长、中国国际贸易学会、WTO研究会理事、世界经济论坛2009全球贸易议程委员会副主席。）
